Is your training material accredited?
  • Yes, our courseware and training program has been extensively reviewed and accredited by The Council for Six Sigma Certification. The Council for Six Sigma Certification is a global accreditation provider focused on ensuring the consistent use and delivery of minimum standards for Six Sigma and Lean Six Sigma Certifications.

Is my Lean Six Sigma Corporation certification recognized internationally?
  • Yes. Your Lean Sigma certification is recognized internationally, as our certification is recognized by the global organization Council for Six Sigma Certification.

Is your content comparable to the content in ASQ's Body of Knowledge?
  • Yes. The online training you will receive from Agustiady Lean Six Sigma will prepare you as a Six Sigma practitioner. We are able to ensure this by providing you courseware that is in line with all other online certifications. Our content and body of knowledge is aligned to the ASQ BOK, the International Association of Six Sigma Certifications, and most importantly, accredited by the Council for Six Sigma Certifications.  Agustiady is also the winner of 2 ASQ medals (Feigenbaum and Crosby)

Will I need to re-certify to take CEU/PDU credits to keep my certification?
  • No. Once you have successfully passed your certification exam for Yellow Belt, Green Belt, or your certification exam and project for Black Belt, your credentials will be perpetual

How are courses conducted?
  • Agustiady Lean Six Sigma provides its content through an online portal with professional narrated e-learning modules and interactive quizzes. All of the material is the online content is available to download as a PDF for print.  Each course will provide a general overview of Six Sigma and then deep dive into the five DMAIC phases, with quizzes throughout and a test at the end of each phase.  The exception will be Yellow Belt, which only covers Define, Measure and Control phases of Six Sigma’s DMAIC process.

Does your Six Sigma certification cover Lean practices?
  • The course content is focused on providing you training in six sigma methodologies while touching on some lean practices. There are many cases in the training, and in the business world, where lean and six sigma cross paths and work together to provide business solutions. Our curriculum is accredited by the Council for Six Sigma Certifications as a Lean Six Sigma curriculum. We are confident that with the Black Belt certification, our students are receiving an education in both six sigma and lean methodologies.

What is your user satisfaction rate?
  • Agustiady Lean Six Sigma's online training and courseware has a satisfaction rating of 100%.
  • One of the last requirements for course completion for all users is a simple 4 question feedback survey. We value your feedback and seek to make reasonable attempts to address your suggestions and ideas. This approach has been essential to achieving our exceptional satisfaction rating.

Do you accommodate purchase orders?

What currency do you quote your prices?
  • All prices are quoted in U.S. Dollars ($).

What software will I need to complete the course?
  • To run the analytical tests in the course, you will need access to either Minitab, Excel, JMP or SigmaXL. You may purchase these off of the user websites.

How long will it take me to get certified?
  • Our Yellow Belt is rated at 40 hours for completion, our Green Belt is rated at 85 hours for completion, and our Black Belt is rated at 105 hours for completion. Because of the online nature of the course, you will be able to navigate the course in a manner that is most suitable to your own work habits. Most students are able to successfully complete the Black Belt (our longest certification) within 6 months of registration, with some of the more aggressive students certifying in as few as 3 months.

How much time do I have to get certified once I purchase a training course?
  • Upon purchase and registration you will have access to our online training system 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Unlike all other online training providers, we grant you access to our online system for as long as you remain active using it. Login at least once every 30 days and you can have perpetual access to all lessons, exercises, quizzes, practice tests, forum, glossary and more.  It’s a community that we wish to create and you will be part of it. We will add exercises and study units every month.

Is a project required for a Black Belt certification?
  • Yes, a project is required for Black Belt certification. Black Belt candidates are required to submit a report for each phase of DMAIC. The report will be reviewed by a Master Black Belt and, if accepted, the candidate will be invited to schedule their tollgate for that phase. Tollgates are held via conference call and weblink, candidates will be required to present and defend their project progress and results.

Is a project required for a Green Belt certification?
  • No. Green Belt certification requirements include passing all tests, the certification exam and completing a project case study. All requirements for Green Belt certification can be completed online through our learning management system.

Is Green Belt a prerequisite for Black Belt certification?
  • No, Green Belt is not a prerequisite for Black Belt.  Our Green Belt program is a subset of Black Belt, and our Yellow Belt program is a subset of Green Belt.  If you wish, you can start directly with Black Belt training and earn your certification from Agustiady Lean Six Sigma online.

What is the difference between Black Belt and Green Belt?
  • Both Green Belt and Black Belt courses cover the full DMAIC curriculum.  However, Black Belt covers more analytical topics than Green Belt.  Some of the topics that are covered by Black Belt but not by Green Belt are:
    • Multi-Vari Analysis
    • Classes of Distributions
    • Data Transformation
    • Stepwise Regression
    • Logistic Regression
    • Design of Expiriments
    • Full Factorial Experiments
    • Fractional Factorial Experiments
  • Additionally, Black Belt candidates are required to complete a Six Sigma project and pass each DMAIC phase project tollgate with a Master Black Belt. Green Belts are required to complete the online project case study.

What is the difference between Yellow Belt and Green Belt?
  • Yellow Belt certification covers the fundamentals of Six Sigma through the full discovery of the Define, Measure and Control phases of the DMAIC methodology.  Yellow Belt certification does not require the use of statistical analysis software programs or heavy analytical exercises.  Those who achieve Yellow Belt certification will be extremely well versed in the process of the DMAIC methodology and the foundations of Six Sigma.

Will I receive a certification when I complete my course?
  • Yes, you will receive an official certification letter that will be available immediately once you complete your certification requirements. Additionally, we will send you a certificate within 4-6 weeks of completing your course. Lastly, your name, certification, and unique certification number will be included in our official certification directory.

Do I need a MBB to conduct my Black Belt project?
  • The online training allows you access to support from a Master Black Belt through email at any time. The project tollgate meetings that are required for each phase are included as part of the standard online training course. With purchase of the Black Belt course, you will have access to a forum and internal messaging system that will allow you to send notes to other students and/or instructors. This program will give you access to one on one mentoring throughout your project with no additional cost!
